Certified Veterinary Technician
Growing up Emma’s family always rescued cats at the shelter. She raised gerbils and hamsters. At age nine she finally talked her parents into getting a dog. After finishing her Bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management at University of Central Florida; she decided to go back to school to become a Veterinary Technician. She states that it was one of the best decisions she has ever made. Her parents had told her that if she loves what she is doing, it will never feel like work. Emma says that it holds true to this day!
Emma’s household consists of two German Shepherds, a chihuahua, three cats, an umbrella cockatoo, a chestnut fronted macaw, Indian ring neck and a lovebird. Given her obligations with her “kids”, you have to wonder how she has time for her hobbies of kayaking, boating and fishing.
Her favorite part of working at Oakhurst is providing value to customers through the delivery of optimal veterinary care on every visit. We are very happy to have Emma as part of our team.
