Dr. Donovan graduated from Ross University in 1997. She enjoys dancing, tennis, horse back riding and reading. Dr. Donovan explains that her path towards veterinary medicine started as a child where she was surrounded by cats and dogs. “The bond that I had with my pets as a child was such an important part of my happiness and well being”, she states. Dr. Donovan says she learned many lessons from caring for her own pets. She learned about forgiveness, unconditional love, patience, responsibility and determination. These valuable lessons and the bonds she developed with her own pets encouraged her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She feels that helping others maintain and cherish the bonds they have with their pets is a vital part of her veterinary practice.
Her special interests include feline medicine and dermatology. She has three cats – Smokey, Onyx and Momma, a Yorkshire Terrier – Betty Boop and a sun conure.
