Boarding Services

Headed out of town and can’t bring your sweet furry friend? Ease your concerns about leaving your pet behind when you board him or her with us. Our experienced and compassionate staff will shower your pet with attention and affection while you’re away. Spots fill up fast, so book your pet’s stay today! Boarders who are picked up before noon will not receive a charge for that day. Otherwise, we ask that you please pick your pet up within one hour of closing. On Sundays, pick-ups occur between 3-4pm.

A Home Away From Home

We provide all of the basic amenities your pet needs, including clean bedding and food and water bowls, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. We encourage you to bring toys and other washable items from home along as well, to help your pet feel comfortable while you are away. Our trained staff will administer any needed medication and follow your pet’s feeding routine. We provide a high-quality diet and treats at no extra charge, but we recommend bringing your pet’s own food so he or she does not have to adjust to an unfamiliar diet. We can also provide our wonderful grooming services before you pick up your pet, so Fido or Fluffy comes home looking and smelling great.

The Benefits of Boarding at a Veterinary Facility

When you choose to board with us, you have the added benefit of knowing that our medical team is always nearby. Veterinary technicians regularly check on our boarders, and our trained kennel staff diligently monitor the boarding area. One of our doctors will promptly attend to your pet if he or she should get stick during the stay. Additionally, we can arrange for one of our doctors or technicians to provide overnight monitoring for pets with health issues.

Boarding Requirements

In order to keep all of our patients and fellow boarders as healthy as possible, we require dogs to have current rabies, bordetella, and distemper vaccinations and cats to have current rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. We ask that your pet have any species-specific core vaccinations as well and that vaccinations be given at least two weeks before boarding. Fecal tests and heartworm tests are required prior to boarding as well.
